Stats: Middle Mt. Williamson to West Mt. Williamson: 0.25 miles, 45′ gain, 40′ loss. West Mt. Williamson to middle Mt. Williamson: 0.25 miles,40′ gain, 45′ loss.  Round Trip: 0.5 miles 95′ gain and loss.

This is a “use trail”, meaning it is fairly clear to follow but not maintained. This segment is easy to follow. The Pleasant View Ridge Trail continues past the JCT with the short trail leading to Middle Mt. Williamson (the peak can be seen from the JCT).

This segment ends at West Mt. Williamson where it is easy to simply continue hiking along the ridge toward Pallett Mountain.
