Cobb Estate Trailhead for Lower Sam Merrill Trail

Trail: Sam Merrill Trail to Echo Mountain, and  Inspiration Point.

Stats: From Cobb Estate to Inspiration Point: 5.6 Miles, 2709′ gain. From Inspiration Point to Cobb Estate: 5.6 miles, 2709′ loss. Round trip: 11.2 miles, 2709′ of gain and loss.

Trail Segments:  Take the Lower Sam Merrill Trail  up to the JCT near Echo Mountain and continue straight to Echo Mountain. From Echo Mountain, return to the JCT and take the Middle Sam Merrill Trail up to Lowe Saddle where five trails meet. From Lowe Saddle, take the trail up to Inspiration Point.
