Trail: Bailey Canyon to Jones Peak

Bailey Canyon Wilderness Area trailhead.

Description: From the Bailey Canyon Wilderness Area trailhead at the west end of the parking lot, follow the trail through the park and pass through a turnstile gate, turn right and follow an asphalt road up the canyon. Continue going straight at the bridge. There is a sign at the bridge, follow the direction toward Canyon View Nature Trail. At the junction with the Canyon View Nature Trail, go right and follow the Bailey Canyon Trail. Further up the trail, continue past the junction leading to the cabin (not marked), but, a trail off to the left. At the saddle with Jones Peak, turn right and follow the trail to the summit.

Stats: 6.0 miles, 2,200′ of gain and loss.
