Description: From the trailhead at the west end of the lower parking lot, cross the bridge and follow the Gabrieleno trail down along the Arroyo Seco crossing it several time. Cross the Arroyo Seco at an obvious spot near Commodore Switzer Trailcamp and continue uphill to a junction with the Bear Canyon Trail. At the Junction, go right (and up) to continue following the Gabrieleno Trail past the junction with the Ken Burton Trail. The ruins of Oakwilde Campground will be on the right across the Arroyo Seco.
