Hikes:

1. San Gabriel Peak Trailhead: Trail up to Mt. Disappointment down San Gabriel Peak Trail to the road; follow the road to use trail; use trail up to Mt. Deception with some exploration beyond the peak: 4.7 miles, 1797′ gain and loss. First Hike: 2-4-2013.
2. San Gabriel Peak Trailhead to Mt. Deception, Deception Plateau, Mt. Disappointment, and San Gabriel Peak: 7 miles, 2,630′ of gain and loss. First Hike: 2-12-18.
3. Cobb Estate Trailhead: Lower Sam Merrill Trail to Castle Canyon Trail to Inspiration Point; Mt. Lowe Road to East Mt. Lowe Trail to South San Gabriel Peak Trail to Saddle with Mt. Disappointment; down road to San Gabriel Peak Trail to where it crosses the road again; take road to Mt. Deception Trailhead and take use trail to Mt. Deception and back; hike the same way to the saddle and then hike round trip to Mt. Disappointment; continue up to San Gabriel Peak; return to the JCT for Inspiration Point the same way; take Sam Merrill Trails to the Cobb Estate: 19 miles, 5425′ gain and loss. First Hike: 4-17-2014.
